Why BLOG?

Sooo ... I created this blog about two weeks ago and I've been doing a lot of thinking about why I wanted to start a blog and what I'd like it to be about.  Before adding "start a blog" to my bucket list, I found myself reading other people's blogs and was always intrigued by it.  I got to see and learn what it is like living somewhere else in the world or hear what other people had to say as they opened up and let everyone reading into their personal lives.  I've also always considered myself a creative person who enjoys writing and talking (ha!), and I think I lead a pretty good life ... so why not start a blog of my own (right?).  (Besides it's only fair, if you can read someone else's blog then they should have the chance to read yours too if they'd like.)  That being said, I am hoping to not only use this blog as a creative outlet, but as a way to talk to others, hear what everyone reading has to say or share, and hopefully make lots of new blogging friends along the way :)
