Versatile Blogger~

Oh my goodness ... I am just so excited! Today is a special day in the blog world for me!  I am not only celebrating my one month blogiversary but my very first blog award! The lovely Belle in the City  and the very sweet Mandy at Hippy Chic both honored me with the Versatile Blogger Award!!     I am so ecstatic and feel so very honored that they both thought of me ... and I can't thank them both enough! :) 

With this award you list 7 random facts about yourself and tag 15 ladies!

1.   I love palm trees! I love them so much that I have a palm tree tattoo on my hip (my mom and sister have one too -- there is meaning behind it and it serves as a symbol of our bond).  I also have a palm tree/tropical beach scene on my bedroom wall that I wake up looking at every morning.

2.  I love to fly!  My favorite part is taking off.  One day, I would love to go in the cockpit and learn a few things about flying an airplane.   Until then, I'll enjoy being a passenger ;)

3.   Breakfast foods are my favorite!! I'll eat pancakes, french toast, eggs, home fries, bacon, etc. anytime of day ... just not all at once {haha}.

4.  I am a Special Education Teacher and couldn't imagine doing anything else..  I am so lucky to have a job that I absolutely love!  I adore my kids and they mean the world to me! I always say, "If happiness paid the bills, I'd work for free!" ...that's how much I love it. 

5.  My favorite actress is Reese Witherspoon.  Legally Blonde, Just Like Heaven, and Walk the Line are just a few of my favorites that she's starred in.  She's not only a great actress but a great mom.  She seems  so sweet and down to earth ... and she is stunning!

6.  I collect Lolita martini glasses.  They are these amazing, hand-painted glasses that have beautiful designs on them and come in a variety of themes (if you'd like to see all of the different ones they have, click here).

 

7.  I enjoy cleaning! I know, who really enjoys cleaning? But seriously, I do.  I also love organizing ... I can't stand clutter!  I actually think I have a little bit of OCD because most of the time, you'll even catch me color coding things! Hey, the first step is admitting the problem, right?! {haha}

Yep .. this is so me! I'll smile when I vacuum.
