7 Facts Blog Award~

My very sweet blog friend, Ashley awarded me with the 7 Facts Blog Award.   Her blog, Oh Me! is super cute and fun ... you should definitely check it out!

Here are my 7 facts:

{I've done a bunch of posts with facts and favorites over the past few weeks, so bear with me, if I repeat anything :)}

1.  I love country music.  As y'all know, I obsessed with Jason Aldean.  I saw him in concert four times last year and often travel out of state to see him.   I am traveling 4 hours to Massachusetts to see him next month and I am flying to Chicago to see him this August. Yeah, I love him!   Aside from Jason, I love Dierks Bentley, Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and the list goes on and on.  Country is just starting to get big here in N.Y.  We finally have a country music station!

2.  I love to cook and bake.  I'm sure a lot of you already know that based on my posts :)  ... but you should know that I'm a still a newbie.  I started cooking and baking (from scratch) just last summer.  I am teaching myself, but receive some help and guidance from my mom and my baking friend, Danielle.  (If you have Facebook, check out her baking blog.)  

3.  I love dogs, especially the spaniel breeds.   Growing up,  I had a cocker spaniel. I love their curly little ears!   After he passed, I waited a few years before I got my pup, Brandi.  She is a brittany spaniel.  When I got her 3 years ago,  I walked in set on bring home a spaniel.   Sure enough,  I walked in was immediately drawn to her and knew I had to have her. She had curly ears too and was so different than any dog I'd ever seen (she had green eyes).

4.  I love Broadway shows.  My favorite is Wicked.  I'm very fortunate to live close to NYC and have the opportunity to see shows.  I don't go as frequently as I'd like but I have seen a bunch and have enjoyed every one I have seen (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, A Chorus Line, Grease, just to name a few).

5.  I have a texting addiction.   I'm always texting friends and family.  Thank goodness my cell phone plan has unlimited texting!

6.  I love being blonde.  I dye my hair every 4 weeks and my hair is surprisingly very healthy.  Being blonde is a lot of maintenance but I don't mind because I truly enjoy getting my hair done.   Plus, my hairdresser is a friend so it's friendly on my wallet.

7.   I'm Irish and German.  I love St. Patrick's Day and German engineering aka my Volkswagen Jetta.
