I've been to New Orleans several times, but never for Mardi Gras. I've always wanted to go, but then again it's so crazy 365 days of the year, I can't imagine it any crazier!
Never been - but man, it would be a blast! And all the photo ops with those GREAT colors...and colorful people!!!
I went for Mardi Gras last year with my friend whose family is from New Orleans and oh my GOSH, most fun ever! There are all sorts of parties and the food was ah-MAZING and everyone is so happy! I wish I had taken more pictures, I'll have to post the ones I have sometime! Also in the Dallas airport this morning there were hundreds of yellow/purple/green striped mardi gras shirts haha!
