My Favorites~

Hello lovelies! Happy Tuesday!  I'm so excited to be guest blogging for the first time at Sarah's We're Just Like You Only Prettier today, if you'd like to check it and see what I wrote about, click here :) 

Yesterday, one of my bloggy besties, Megan at Mackey Madness, tagged me to share all of my favorite things.  Of course, I am participating because well I love Megan and I love to take part in any kind of blog link-up!  So without further ado, here are my favorites:

Favorite time of day:  Morning (I always wake up super early. I set my alarm clock, but always wake up before it!)

Favorite season:  Fall (I love the weather, the color of the leaves changing, and a fresh, new school year beginning.)

Favorite month: July (I'm off from school, beautiful beach weather, and oh yeah, it's my birthday month)

Favorite holiday: Thanksgiving

Favorite subject in school: Math

Favorite channel: Food Network

Favorite color: Red

Favorite song:  "Don't You Wanna Stay" -- Jason Aldean & Kelly Clarkson

Favorite movie(s):  Pretty Woman, Sweet Home Alabama & 27 Dresses

Favorite celebrity:  Reese Witherspoon

Favorite kind of music:  Country, of course (I'm in love with Jason Aldean!)

 

Favorite tv show(s):   King of Queens, Friends, & Sex and the City

Favorite thing to do:  Blog and teach my students

Favorite place in the world:  Anywhere my pup is.  The world is always better when she is around.

Favorite hobby:  Blog .. oh wait, I already said that.  What can I say I'm addicted?! Photography is another hobby of mine.

Favorite kind of animal:  Dogs, of course!

Favorite place to live:  New York.  (I live on Long Island.  I'm an hour east of NYC and an hour west of the Hamptons.  Love it!)

Favorite vacation spot(s): Anywhere in the Caribbean or Las Vegas.  I'd love to go to Europe!

Favorite restaurant:  Don Ricardo's

Favorite food(s):  Anything breakfast-related or Mexican

Favorite thing to cook:  I love to bake! But to cook,  I'm known for my quiches.

Favorite drink:  Half-iced tea/ half-lemonade

Favorite chore:  Vacuuming

Favorite makeup:  Almay, Covergirl

Favorite hair products:  I have the Keratin treatment on my hair, so I use Keratin products with no sulfate in them. I don't use any hair spray or anything on my hair when I leave it straight.  If I scrunch it or curl it, I use Aussie or TRESemme products.

Favorite lotion:  Nivea Smooth Sensation lotion

Favorite perfume: Juicy by Juicy Couture

Favorite memories:  I have too many!  Graduation (from undergrad and grad school), the day I got my dog, Brandi, and the day I was honored as Teacher of the Year.

Favorite thing to blog about:  Anything and everything!

Favorite book(s):  To Kill a Mockingbird, Something Borrowed

Favorite verse/quote:  My current fave:  "Life is a roller coaster.  You can either scream every time you hit a bump or you can throw your hands up in the air and enjoy it."

Favorite thing to wear:  Dresses

Favorite kind of day:  DO WHATEVER YOU WANT DAY!  Watch tv, blog, relax in your pj's, snack on sweet treats... sounds good, right?!

Favorite job: Teaching! I love my job more than anything.  My kids are the sweetest!
