New Series!

Wouldn't it be nice to travel the world to taste different cuisines and immerse yourself in different cultures?  Eat some gelato in Italy; watch a kangaroo hop through the Australian outback; climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris; experience Carnival in Brazil.  While globetrotting probably isn't feasible for most of us (at least within a relatively short period of time), it's fun to learn about different cultures and bring a little bit of the world into our own backyard, or in this case our own blog.

Two of my best blogging friends, Lyndsay from Simply Lyndsay and Michelle from The Vintage Apple, and I are starting a new blog series, Tastes & Travels.  Beginning in May, we'll feature a different country each month with three posts throughout the month, first featuring cuisine,  then our ideal vacation destination in that country, and finally, the last post will be a little more free form.  We'll write a little more about what we would do during our vacation and for fun, what we would pack to wear as we make our trek around the globe.  More importantly, the third and final post for each country will be a link-up where we'd love for all of you to join in our virtual globetrotting and tell us what destination in the featured country you would visit.  Where would you go? What would you do? What would you eat? What would you wear?
