Searching for Mr. Right~

Hello lovelies!  I'm excited to share something new with all of you today.  I've made so many great friends through blogging that I feel comfortable opening up and talking more of my personal life with all of you.

I'm sure after reading the title, you have an idea what this post is about.  And as many of you already know, I am single and I have reached a point in my life where I'm searching for "the one".  About 2 years ago, I came out of a 7-year relationship, a relationship that lasted from when I was 18 to 25.  When that relationship ended, I didn't know where to begin in the dating world again.  I dated a lot.  I went on blind dates, I joined online dating sites, and met guys at social events.  Over the course of this time, I dated a few guys exclusively.  I was also in a relationship with someone who I connected with instantly and who had my heart immediately. Someone who I blogged about here and someone who I still can't believe I let go.  I've come to realize everything happens for a reason and that brings me to where I am today.   I recently stopped seeing someone, which is why I feel like I can open up more about my dating history on my blog.

Everyone looks for "the one".  Someone that they can laugh with with, have fun, enjoy their time with, and spend the rest of their life with.   Some of you have already found him and some of you may be still searching for him.

Starting this week, I will be debuting a two-part dating series.  I wanted a place where I could document dating stories that were unforgettable and what better place than my blog?!

Instead of calling this series, Michelle's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Dates {haha},  I decided to open it up to all bloggers since I'd probably run of stories pretty quickly!  I also decided that I didn't want it to be all about bad dates.   While we've all had our share of bad dates, I am still very optimistic about finding true love and enjoy hearing love stories.   I've decided that I would like this series to include both good and bad date stories.

The BAD DATE stories will be in a series called "Not Another BAD DATE".  All of the stories will be shared anonymously to keep the privacy of the writer.    (Trust me, these stories are sure to give you a good laugh!)

The GOOD DATE stories will be part of a series called "The Road to Finding Love".  Writers will have the opportunity to share a great date story with a happy ending.  Writers will have the choice to share anonymously or using their names.

If you'd like to share a date story (good or bad), please e-mail me at nbsweetheart729@gmail.com.
Just remember all stories will be kept confidential between you and I and all stories will be shared anonymously on the blog unless you choose otherwise.  I'd love to hear from you and have you share your story!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! xo
