Buongiorno! Lyndsay, Michelle, and I are really happy with the positive response we've received with our blog series, Tastes & Travels. We are excited to be continuing our journey through Italy today with the third installment. (If you missed the introduction, click here; the first week's recipes, click here; and last week's attractions, click here.)
We're enjoing this adventure and happy to have you come along with us!
We've talked about what we would eat, where we would visit, so I thought today I'd share what I would wear ... well at least, that was my intention. Since we're on a virtual dream vacation, I decided that I'd rather share what I wish I could afford to buy and wear. I mean we're in Italy! The home of many famous designers ... Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, and Versace. I would love to go shopping and come home all of these amazing dresses, bags, shoes, and pieces of jewelry!
And if you're heading to Italy and plan on going shopping, here are some words you may find helpful ...
Mi piace... -- I like (it)...
Voglio... -- I want...
la giacca -- jacket
la camicia -- shirt
i pantaloni -- trousers
le scarpe -- shoes
Quanto costa? -- How much does it cost?
grande -- big
piccolo, piccola -- small
caro, cara -- expensive
What do you think of my dream purchases?
How awesome would it be to shop in Italy? Do you have a favorite Italian designer?
Be sure to check out Lyndsay's blog and Michelle's blog to see what they've done in Italy this week!
Next week, it's your turn to link up! You can share your favorite Italian foods, where you'd like to visit in Italy, pictures from your own personal trip to Italy, your favorite Italian designers ... it's all up to you! We hope you join us! :)
Hanno un grande giorno! xo{Thank you, Google translator!}
PS: I am guest blogging for my awesome blogging bff, Jenn at Peas and Crayons today! If you've never visited Jenn's blog ... you definitely need to! She's sweet and funny, the host of one of my favorite link up parties, What I Ate Wednesday, and has lots of fun recipes and DIY crafts for you! Are you following her yet? ;)

That D&G cream colored dress with the black lace.
It is GORGEOUS!!!!
Those Fendi shoes are awesome!
When I think of fashion and Italy, I think of the episode of the New Jersey Housewives where they walk up that massive hill in heels and fur coats!
I like Salvatore Ferragamo...I have a purse from there and am INN LOOVEE
But If I was walking around Italy, I'd want a sexy pair of christian louboutins (haha theyre french shoes though...shhh!) Ugh I lust over a pair of leopard loubs every day but think I'd only pull them off in NYC, Beverly Hills, Milan, or Italy..so I'd want a pair of those babies!!

Italian shopping sounds amazing!
Shopping? Yes please! I need those shoes!
Italy is AAAAALLL about shoes :) I could've bought a pair in each city we visited - always high quality and decently affordable.

Love your blog! Your post just gave me the shopping bug - I now NEED to hit the mall later today. Which isn't at all the same as Italian shopping (which I know is absolutely the best), but still.
Just stopping by from Following the Walkers (www.unefillesleigh.blogspot.com). I'll definitely be back!
