Boston with Amber

Hello pretty ladies!  I'm happy to have one of favorite bloggers, Amber from Brunch with Amber, here today.  She is a sweetheart and one of the most down-to-earth people I know!  If you're not familiar with her blog then you're missing out and you need to head on over after you read this post! :)   Take it away, Amber . . .

Hey y'all! I'm Amber from Brunch with Amber. Over at my blog, I talk about random things. My family & friends, my boyfriend, my love affair with coffee & wine, and I host a linkup on Thursdays. Stop by and say hi! :)

In the spirit of Michelle's trip to Chicago, I decided to talk with you guys about traveling.

I LOVE to travel. I'd seriously take a trip just about anywhere. However, the money isn't always there when I want to go somewhere.

There's so many places I want to see, but I'm really on a kick right now for one certain place...

Yep, BOSTON! I've never been and have always dreamed of one day going. I'm currently trying to talk my boyfriend into making a trip out there next Spring.

I'd love to attend a Red Sox game at Fenway Park aka The Green Monster!

Have you ever been to Boston? Tell me about the city so I can fall in love more and convince my boyfriend to go with. ;)

No I have never been to Boston, and it's not on my travel list! It might have to do with the fact that I am a HUGE Yankees fan and I hate the Red Sox! lol! No, in all seriousness, it looks beautiful there, and I might just make it there one day!

I went to Boston a few years ago, and it might be my favorite city EVER. It's gorgeous-- the perfect blend of a big city with a small-ish feel. I love history, and there's a TON of it in Boston. Plus it's on the waterfront (which is crucial to me). When/if you go, you have to do a harbor cruise-- it's gorgeous. Oh, and hit up Modern Pastry in the north end-- DELICIOUS.

I absolutely love Boston. Even though I'm a Yankees fan, I actually prefer to travel there. It's just sooo gorgeous! My boyfriend and I love the science museum by the harbor, it's huge and very interactive.

Plus, I love that you can drive there. I mean you can drive to New York too, but I'm way to scared so we just take the train in. hahha.

Hope you can convince your boyfriend to go!

I grew up just over the state line in New Hampshire, so Boston was a common trip for me. You really can't go wrong there, but I highly recommend the Freedom Trail and Quincy Market. And you must do the Duck Boats!!

There's nothing like a Boston parade after a sports team has won! When the Red Sox won after the longest 86 years ever, the parade was phenomenal. Even if you hate the Boston teams, their spirit is remarkably enduring and emotional!

Cute post, Amber! I think I told you but I grew up in Boston! I'm so happy you want to visit it, I think you'll love it. A Red Sox game can get pretty roudy--those Bostonians! :) Great blog, Michelle--looking forward to checking it out.
