Hello lovelies! After months of on and off dating, I decided to re-join an online dating site. I am optimistic that I will find the right person for me, but until then I'm enjoying myself and getting a good laugh out of some of the e-mails that I receive. I thought it would be fun to share a few with you and hope they bring some humor to your day!
{You may recall these first two e-mails ... I shared them in part to my Not Another Bad Date series. They are from the same person who obviously didn't realize he e-mailed me twice. HE WAS DEFINITELY INTERESTING!}
E-MAIL #1
Lol ... The little monsters must love you :)
Ok Princess Poo-Poo :) ... I know you poop and fart on a regular basis... but shhhh ...pretty girls don't do that sort of thing ...it's okay. I won't tell ... ha ha ha!
Lights Camera Action...which (3) things make you stand out from the rest and (3) things make your friends and family run for the hills when you become Miss Cranky Pants?
If this all jives with your brain chemistry....read my profile and from there you know what to do...if not, it was nice meeting your computer and best of luck fishing...
Luv Always,
A. B.
P.S. You look like trouble...lol :)
E-MAIL #2
Hey Pumpkin Head you seem kinda cool :)
Those innocent eyes, that blond hair, that giggly smile, so hot! Enough about you, let’s talk about me. :)
Let's see, I've gone on 2 dates from this site. One was a lemon. One was a lime. I'm looking for a gal with a sweet bubbly personality and that special girlish charm that only a select few have.
So feel free to check my out my profile. If you like what you read, then you know what to do. If not, it was a pleasure meeting your computer and best of luck.
Peace Out Girlscout,
Mr. A.B. :-)

{The marriage proposal e-mail.}
I love your profile. I would marry you in a flash. I would worship the ground you walk on. I will treat you like a princess that you are. I'm sorry to be so straight forward it is that you look like the ideal girl that any man would love to know better. I should start by saying can I get to know you better instead of marry me?

Aren't they a bunch of characters? Needless to say, I did not respond to any of these e-mails. Would you?
Ever join an online dating site? Have any success?
Happy Thursday! xo

The first one was kind of cute lol. I figure men like to joke and they don't know how to be serious sometimes.
I have never joined an online dating site but found my love on Facebook. He was my very first boyfriend from high school who searched me out and wrote me an apology email. It was the sweetest thing and I had no clue I still had feelings for him! I guess we bury our hurt sometimes.
Oh wow--online dating definitely offers its entertainment haha.
I actually am now dating a guy who I met on Match. He's a cutie, and super sweet. Totally the type of guy I have been searching for a long time to find. So, amid all of the entertaining, frustrating, annoying situations that an online dating site can provide, there are exciting, happy, and pretty fantastic things that can come from it as well!
Sending you tons of luck and good on-line dating vibes! :)

"Peace out girlscout!" Seriously?! Hahahahaha! Oh man, I don't blame you for not responding to these emails!

This is HILARIOUS! The guy with the two emails...I don't even know what to say about him. I can't tell if he's seriously wacked or just plain funny...maybe both?
"Enough about you, let's talk about me". Haha.
Wow, I needed this laugh. Thank you.
i literally laughed out loud with some of these ;) hahahah! i would possibly agree to NOT talk to them- weirdos!
OH WOW R THESE PEOPLE FOR REAL? HAHAHHAHAA TOO MUCH! GOOD LUCK! LUCKY MAN THAT WINS YOUR HEART!!!!!
Wow. I have been on match for almost 6 months, but haven't had much luck at all. I got a couple of totally inappropriate messages that grossed me out!
If you've had any luck, maybe you could share some tips? I never hear back from anyone I wink at or email.
I just made a match profile but I haven't activated it yet. I'm nervous! Keep me posted on how you're search is going...I'm hoping to work up some courage and activate mine soon.
Oh my gosh....those emails are crazy! It's amazing how many people just don't have good social etiquette!
hahaha i seriously think my jaw dropped reading those first two..i mean really?? i would LOVE to see what that guy is like in real life...just to see what kind of guy says thing like that! haha what dating site are you on?
I joined eharmony for like 2 days haha- there were some pretty cute guys on there that I talked to but then I decided I didn't have to time to put into it, and just wasn't quite ready for all that! Maybe I'll try again in a couple years...
Those emails are hilarious! I only dated for about a year and a half. I met my boyfriend who I am w now, and he's wonderful. However I did go out with quite a few not so wonderful guys to get there. My friend is online dating now and recently went out w a guy who seemed great until he made lots of pirate noises at her, for a long period of time. Guys are weird lol
Oh wow! Those are...interesting. Boys can be so weird sometimes! I know several people who have met great guys on dating sites, so hopefully there will be some good ones in the midst of the crazy!
Oh. Em. Gee. Just because we're on the internet doesn't mean that we have to get cray cray. At least it makes for some hilarious blog post material!!!
I seriously can't believe people sometimes! Thanks for the laugh :)
ha! Peace out girlscout?! Love it! PLEASE keep us updated...I may be married so I'll have to date online vicariously through you lol.
The first two emails were kinda funny & weird at the same time. I may have responded to his only because he kept it funny and awkward.
I know theres someone out there for you, just hopefully someone who doesnt say peace out girlscout.
ummm wow, FREAKS!!! My friend met her husband on match and my aunt met her boyfriend on match. i think they def work, but you have to weed through freaks like the ones that contacted you. Makes for a good laugh though!
Those are hilarious! Oh my gosh, I love it. You sure attract some interesting guys!
LMAO!! Where does email #2 get his pet names? Pumpkin head, Girlscout...lmao, good stuff!!
I'm on a dating site now and love the laughs I get from the emails. I figure since I don't do the ar scene and work with mainly women where else am I going to meet someone?
omg the time i was on a dating sight i had creepers like this too. seriously? do they think they sound cool? i am wondering if they are the same guys LOL. I had ones that would message me over and over again. Like if I did not message you back the first 9x, what makes you think I would on the 10th? I also had people send me some vulgar messages.... not fun. actually those types made me get off online dating. whew. I considered trying it again... I only went on 1 successful date. might i ask what site you are using?
OMG HAHAHA these were hilarious to read!!! I'm totally confident you will find an amazing man who is not featured in one of those emails above ;)
HAHAHHA OMG, THOSE E-MAILS!! Too funny!!!
I have a funny story about online; e-mail me and I'll tell it to you! :-)
wow! I have two reactions to this post 1) I will never online date and 2) I sooo want to make a profile because those emails are all kinds of badly awesome!
I'd love to just see your face when you open the emails : )
Hahahahaha!! Those are hilarious!!!
Peace out girlscout. ;)
Love you!
oh I joined match in mid august and have gone on a few days. The 1st guy to contact seemed great but then disappaeared. The 2nd guy was using a pic 3 years and 30 lbs ago, whoops.
still remain sorta hopeful though.
SO funny! you are quite brave to face the crazies. i hope you meet someone fabulous :)
I was cracking up at these! I've been on two different sites and have experienced similar emails. My luck hasn't been all that great though. But it always makes for some interesting stories. My friends love when I go on dates b/c they can't wait for the recaps. I've gone out with a guy now dubbed as Old Spice Guy and the other as ManChild. hehe. Wish you luck though :)
WOW!!! The marriage proposal was a little much. But, I would respond back to him and say, okay as long as you have my man Jason there to sing at our wedding and my ring is at least 4 carats or more! LOL
WOW OH WOW! I COMPLETELY understand your woes girl, lol. This has been quite an adventure and I haven' been doing it a week yet, BUT I do have a real date next week! WOOHOO!
hahahhaha omg these made my day! I just laughed out loud really hard!
Haha see this is why I have never signed up for a dating site! I'd get creepers :)
Although I know living in West Hollywood amongst gay men is not the easiest way to get a man and I really should try online dating, I'm too scared/nervous!
This are hilarious! Guys can be sooo weird.
P.S. Are you on plenty of fish? ;) I noticed that one said good luck fishing!
O M G. please tell me these are not real?! some people are absolutely NUTS!!!
Ha Ha- Thanks for the chuckle! Serioiusly, who does that?
Oh my gosh, these are hilarious!! Hahaha. How do pick between these winners??? Lol.
lol WOW too funny! I've never online dated but I just got out of a relationship this year and have found it's increasingly hard to meet a good guy with similar interests, so I've started pondering it. But now you are scaring me away! hehe
cute post!!
hahah too funny! I would have e-mailed back just to get a good laugh out of it all. I don't get how people can even come up with crazy stuff like that. However, I DO hope you have luck and I have actually heard of a few successful online dating stories and hope yours is nothing but that. Wish ya lucky girl! Whoever finds ya....will be a darn lucky one. And hopefully looks like Jason Aldea ;)
Um wow! These are just wrong! Thanks for sharing!
I met my husband on Eharmony three years ago. It can work! Good luck :)
