Holiday Favorites Link-up : Holiday Playlist

Hello lovelies!  It's December 1st and I couldn't be happier that the holiday season is here!  To kick it off, it's time to start celebrating on the blog!  So let's get this party started . . .

{For a full list of topics, see here.}

You can't have a party without music, right?!

I don't know about you but I love Christmas music!  So it's no surprise I have tons on my iPod.  Here are some of my favorites . . .

Last Christmas -- Wham
This song has been my favorite Christmas song since I was 7 years old.  My Grandma Eileen loved George Michael and introduced me to this song during Christmas '91.  She passed away in April of '92 and I have LOVED this song ever since.   Last Christmas was released in 1984 -- the year I was born -- so I always say it is my song!  There are many other versions of this classic song by other artists but the only two I enjoy are the original and the version by Darren Hayes from Savage Garden.  All other versions I cannot stand -- including Taylor Swift's.   {Sorry, just not a fan and think the original version is the best!}

Last Christmas -- covered by Darren Hayes from Savage Garden

Dominick the Donkey -- Lou Monte
{Hey! Chingedy ching (hee-haw, hee-haw) / It's Dominick the donkey. / Chingedy ching (hee-haw, hee-haw) / The Italian Christmas donkey. / (la la la-la la-la la la la la) / (la la la-la la-la la-ee-oh-da)

Believe -- Josh Groban

All I Want for Christmas is You -- Mariah Carey

Wonderul Christmastime -- Paul McCartney
