NKOTBSB!

Hello lovelies!  A few weeks ago,  I saw NKOTBSB in concert and I had an awesome time!  It was such an amazing concert!  My friends and I sang and danced the entire time {almost 3 hours to be exact!}  When we left,  my throat hurt and my ears were ringing and I could barely hear a thing ... all signs of a good concert experience!

Here are some pictures . . .
[Matthew Morrison from Glee]
I love Mr. Schuester!  But let me tell you I have a totally different view of him now! :)

[NKOTBSB]
Everyone was screaming so loud when they came out that you couldn't even hear them when they started singing!

[New Kids on the Block]

[Backstreet Boys]

[ I ♥ Donnie! Enough said ;) ]

[That girl is poison ... SPECIAL GUESTS:  Bell Biv Devoe!]

[Encore!]

Are you a New Kids on the Block or Backstreet Boys fan?  Did you see a NKOTBSB concert?

Have a great day! xo

Boston with Amber

Hello pretty ladies!  I'm happy to have one of favorite bloggers, Amber from Brunch with Amber, here today.  She is a sweetheart and one of the most down-to-earth people I know!  If you're not familiar with her blog then you're missing out and you need to head on over after you read this post! :)   Take it away, Amber . . .

Hey y'all! I'm Amber from Brunch with Amber. Over at my blog, I talk about random things. My family & friends, my boyfriend, my love affair with coffee & wine, and I host a linkup on Thursdays. Stop by and say hi! :)

In the spirit of Michelle's trip to Chicago, I decided to talk with you guys about traveling.

I LOVE to travel. I'd seriously take a trip just about anywhere. However, the money isn't always there when I want to go somewhere.

There's so many places I want to see, but I'm really on a kick right now for one certain place...

Yep, BOSTON! I've never been and have always dreamed of one day going. I'm currently trying to talk my boyfriend into making a trip out there next Spring.

I'd love to attend a Red Sox game at Fenway Park aka The Green Monster!

San Francisco with Lyndsay

Hello lovelies!  I'm so excited to have one of my blogging besties, Lyndsay from Simply Lyndsay, taking over my blog today!  She and I share a lot in common and hit it off instantly!  She is one of the sweetest people I know and is always so positive and optimistic!  Her blog is one of my favorites so be sure to head on over and check it out! :)   Without further ado, Lyndsay . . .

Hi everyone!  I'm Lyndsay!  I’m so excited to be guest posting for Michelle while she’s off exploring Chicago and seeing Jason Aldean AGAIN!  I thought I’d share some pictures and a few tidbits about my latest trip to one of my favorite cities, San Francisco!

The Golden Gate Bridge

I think often times it's the icon of the city. Whether you remember watching the Tanners cruise across it during the opening credits of Full House or you see it flash across your screen during a 49ers Monday Night Football game on ESPN, the red suspension bridge is iconic with the city by the bay.

Lombard Street - "The Crookedest Street"

Lombard Street is known as the "crookedest" street. San Francisco is a city built on many, many hills, and I was told that this street was built with these curves so that way back in the day horses could navigate the hill more easily. It was a hike to get to the top, but the view was pretty!

Fisherman's Wharf

We spent many nights down by the wharf. Yes, it's packed with tourists, but it's just a great place to be. There are great restaurants with some of the best seafood I’ve ever had, street performers, and beautiful views of the bay!

Alcatraz

Alcatraz, also know as “The Rock,” is an island in the middle of the San Francisco Bay, and it’s also home to probably the most well known federal penitentiaries.  It closed its doors in the early 1960s, and now there are tours of the historical prison.  We took a night tour, and enjoyed beautiful views of the city while we were there.  (The first picture at the top of this post was taken from Alcatraz.)

Cable Cars

A trip to San Francisco is not complete without at least one ride on the cable cars. We caught the Hyde-Powell line at Fisherman's Wharf and rode it all the way down to Union Square.

AT&T Park - Home of the San Francisco Giants

I have to admit it was a little difficult walking the streets of San Francisco seeing all of the 2010 World Series Championship signs and flags. As a Phillies fans, the memory of losing the NL Championship is still fresh in our minds. Anyway, that aside, AT&T Park is a beautiful stadium. It's right on the water, which makes for beautiful scenery (and bitter cold conditions even in June)!

The Painted Ladies

Other than the Golden Gate Bridge, this picture is probably the other iconic picture of San Francisco. For my generation at least, it's the Full House houses. This picture was taken from Alamo Square Park. We saw it once on our city tour when it was rainy, and then we went back on our last full day because I needed a sunny day shot! Both times, there were many people there just enjoying the beautiful view of the city.

I loved reminiscing as I wrote this post!  I hope you enjoyed the pictures and my commentary about the city.  San Francisco is such a unique place, and it’s definitely one of my favorite places to visit!

Michelle, thanks for having me, and I hope you’re having a wonderful time in Chicago!

"A Guide To Disneyland"

Palm Springs with Heather

Happy Friday lovelies!  I'm excited to have Heather here today!  She is one of the sweetest and funniest people I know and her blog is one of my favorites!  She blogs about her life in Texas, her super cute furbabies, and so much more all with her great sense of humor!  She is also host to Book Club Friday... so if you're looking for great books to read or a fun blog to follow then definitely head on over and check her out!  Without further ado ... here's Heather.

Hello, blog loves!

I'm Heather

A.K.A.

I blog about life, love, and furbabies.

I love to travel.
Last year, the hubby was part of a wedding in Palm Springs, CA.  I'm a Texas girl and have never made it that far west before.  So, I was very excited to see the sites celebrities.

Unfortunately, Jake Gyllenhaal & George Clooney didn't get the memo that I was coming to town.  Heck, even Heidi Montag missed the news.  Luckily, there really were some gorgeous views.

The pool right outside our door.

View from our room.

Um, hello waterfall at breakfast!

Hiked up a little ways for this view.

Mr. BUB and I checking out.
What's your favorite destination?

Hope everyone has a great weekend! xo
