Hey y'all! In three short weeks, I will be heading to Nashville! I am so EXCITED! I went once when I was 16 but wasn't as big into country music then and will definitely enjoy it more now!

The best shopping is at Green Hills Mall. Chuy's is very yummy!! 2nd Avenue (downtown) is where all the clubs/bars are. Have fun!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Nashville!!! I have family there, so I try to visit as much as I can! I haven't been in a while!!! I say make sure you hit up as many "hole-in-the-wall" bars and clubs...you never know who you will run into! I sat next to Joe Nichols once and almost didn't even realize it!
Also, you might see a performer at one of those places that is up and coming!!!!
Go to the Country Music Hall of Fame and def make sure you go to Opryland.

omg i Love nashville but I've only been their once for a conference. If you are a country music fan like us, it is seriously a dream city. You're going to die!! Go to music row and hang out at all the dives. The music is the best in Nashville!!!

Yay you're going to have SO much fun! I was SO sick the whole time I was there and still had a blast...so much so I lost my driver's license!
I recommend you do the walking ghost tour. It's fun and you get an overview of the city. If you have a car, try to head out to Belle Meade Mansion. If you're not into history there's a little winery with great wine ;)

I am so proud to say I LIVE in Nashville!! It is an amazing place and you will have so much fun. Go with outfit #2. The trick is to NOT look like a tourist. #2 is just the right mix of country and cute to look like you belong in this music mecca and are a regular.
I'm assuming you are going to the Jason Aldean concert that I just about fought with Ticketmaster to get. SO JEALOUS! Anyways, after the concert go out just about any of the bars on Broadway. Tootsie's and The Stage are a must just to say you've been. These give you the full Nashville "honky-tonk" experience! I love Big Bang piano bar too.
The day after go to Pancake Pantry on 21st EARLY in the morning. It is amazing! Also check out the shops around town. Hope you have fun!
I second Pancake Pantry! Some good Nashville (Non chain) Restaurants: Park Cafe, Cafe Nonna (Tiny little Italian Restaurant). There are several restaurants in a trendy area called The Gulch. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about places to go! I lived there for nine years. Love Nashville! There is also a seedy little karaoke bar in Printer's Alley downtown (its safe!), that we LOVED to go to. Everyone is trying to make it in Nashville, so everyone is so good! Cant wait to read about your trip!

I third Pancake Pantry! I've only lived here a month and have been swamped with work so haven't done much in the way of sightseeing; you probably know more about this place than I do :)
Nashville is an amazing city!! You DEFINITELY have to stop at Pancake Pantry - they have the most delicious breakfast ever!
