Recent Reads

Hello lovelies!  So I recently got a NOOK and it has helped me get back into my reading groove.  The first three books I read on it were apart of the FIFTY SHADES OF GREY trilogy!  Pure amazingness is what they were!  By far, the best trilogy I HAVE EVER READ!  Let's just say I read 1500 pages in 3 days and I was so sad when it was over!  I'm still FIFTY SHADES OF BLUE a week later!  I will be talking more about the books soon so stay tuned! :)

After reading Fifty Shades,  I decided that I wanted to read a few light, and easy-going books.

Here are a few of the books I've read . . .

Wife by Wednesday by Catherine Bybee

Synposis:
Blake Harrison:
Rich, titled, and charming… And in need of a wife by Wednesday so he turns to Sam Elliot who isn’t the business man he expected. Instead, Blake is faced with Samantha Elliot, engaging and spunky with a voice men call 900 numbers to hear.

Samantha Elliot:
Owner of Alliance, her matchmaking firm, and not on the marital menu... That is until Blake offers her ten million dollars for a one-year contract. All she needs to do is keep her attraction to her husband to herself and avoid his bed. But Blake’s toe-curling kisses and charm prove too difficult to combat. Now she needs to protect her heart so she can walk away when their mercenary life together is over.  {via book cover}

The Marriage Bargain by Jennifer Probst

Synopsis:
A marriage in name only...

To save her family home, impulsive bookstore owner, Alexa Maria McKenzie, casts a love spell. But she never planned on conjuring up her best friend's older brother—the powerful man who once shattered her heart.

Billionaire Nicholas Ryan doesn’t believe in marriage, but in order to inherit his father’s corporation, he needs a wife and needs one fast. When he discovers his sister’s childhood friend is in dire financial straits, he’s offers Alexa a bold proposition.

A marriage in name only with certain rules: Avoid entanglement. Keep things all business. Do not fall in love. The arrangement is only for a year so the rules shouldn’t be that hard to follow, right?

Except fate has a way of upsetting the best-laid plans...  {via book cover}

She Woke Up Married by Suzanne Macpherson

Synopsis:
Paris James has come to Las Vegas to take the sting off turning the dreaded "Three-O." But one glass of bubbly leads to another -- and when the redhead wakes up the next morning, she finds to her astonishment she's in bed with ... Elvis! The good news is it's the young, sexy Elvis. The bad news is there's a diamond ring on her finger. Sometime during the evening she actually married The King of Rock 'n' Roll! Well, what happened in Vegas better stay in Vegas, right?

But not if Turner Pruitt has anything to say about it. Because years before he put on his first pair of blue suede shoes, Turner knew the real Paris ... She's running away, as usual, but he knows her deepest secrets, and as much as she struggles against love, Paris is going to need him by her side as she faces her demons head-on.

Because this time, Paris James has met her match.  {via book cover}

Hysterical Blondeness by Suzanne Macpherson

Synopsis:
Patricia Stillwell went to sleep a brunette and woke up blonde! That experimental weight-loss program she went on had an unexpected -- but not completely unwelcome -- side effect. Suddenly, the men are taking notice, Patti's taking leave of her senses . . . and she's having the time of her life!

First, there's Brett Nordquist -- he's rich and handsome, but what can Patti truly expect from a man who's so obviously a player? Next, there's Paul Costello -- one blazing moment of passion makes her wonder what she's been missing.

What will happen when Patti morphs back into her former dark-haired self? And does Paul have to start looking so dangerously delicious? With more choices than there are shades of Miss Clairol, Patti makes her decision -- but is it the right one?  {via book cover}

**They were all quick and fun reads.  Some of the storylines were predictable but I really did enjoy reading them!  They were the finest cheesy romance novels I've ever read! ;)    I will say too that they were all bargain e-books and were only .99¢.  So if you're looking for a fun, carefree read ... check one of these books out!**

{I'm linking up with Heather at Blonde .. Undercover Blonde for Book Club Friday!  If you've read any books and have reviewed them on your blog, feel free to join!  I always look forward to adding new books to my reading list!}

Happy Reading! xo

Did you know that the Shades of Grey trilogy started out as Twilight fan fiction on ff.net? I didn't either, I actually just read that last night Hahaha

Anyway, I loved Wife by Wednesday-totally predictable but sweet enough to keep going!
