A Special Meeting in Nashville!

Hello lovelies!  I'm finally starting my Nashville recaps!  I thought that I would start with one of the best parts of my trip . . . meeting one of my best friends, Jesslyn Amber!  For nearly the last year,  Jesslyn has been my blogging bestie and I'm so happy that I was able to finally meet her and have her become one of my real-life best friends!

Jesslyn has always been a wonderful friend to me!  She is by far one of the sweetest people I've ever met!  She is so genuine and has such a positive outlook on everything.  She is always there when I need a laugh or just someone to talk to.  She is a true friend and I'm so lucky to have her in my life!  

As many of you know, my mom, sister, and I traveled to Nashville to see my love, Jason Aldean.  I knew once we booked the trip that I would have to meet and spend time with Jesslyn and for the last few months, Jesslyn and I went back on every social network imaginable planning our day and what a great day it was! :)

So without futher adieu  . . .

OUR MEETING IN NASHVILLE!

Jesslyn drove into Nashville on Saturday morning (2/25/12).  When she arrived, we immediately hugged!  She was just as pretty as her pictures and I loved her sweet Tennessee accent.  There was a Gigi's Cupcakes right across the street from my hotel so we had to make a stop there (of course!). 

We went into Gigi's and ordered our cupcakes.  All of the cupcakes looked like heaven! YUM! I got a Banana Cream Pie and Jesslyn got a Chocolate Covered Cherry.  She was so sweet to treat me to a cupcake!  We sat down and began eating our cupcakes and talked and talked.  It was really nice to talk to her in person! 

After spending some time at Gigi's, we started walking down Broadway aka Music Row.  We did some shopping and then met up with my mom and sister at Cadillac Ranch to sit, talk and listen to some live music.  {My mom and sister loved her!} 

After listening to some music,  Jesslyn and I went to go grab a bite to eat.  I had never been to Joe's Crab Shack so we decided to eat there so I could experience a new restaurant!

I had the crab-stuffed shrimp with loaded mashed potatoes and vegetables.  It was delicious!

Unfortunately our day came had to come to an end.  We took a few more pictures and said our goodbyes. 

It was a day filled with GOOD FOOD, GOOD CONVERSATION, GOOD MEMORIES!  {Stole that from you, Jesslyn ;)}

And even better news is . . . I'm going back to Nashville again in June and I get to hang out with Jesslyn!  WOO HOO!  I'm so excited! :)

I love you, Jesslyn!  I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to meet you through blogging and now in person!  You are one of my best friends and I'm so happy to have you in my life!
